Meet Elijah Cassella — founder and CEO of Cassella Design & Build, Cassella Pools, and Cassella Roofing.

Elijah’s journey started at just 10 years old, cutting grass alongside his brother. What began as a simple lawn care job quickly turned into a passion for building and transforming outdoor spaces. Even then, he wasn’t just thinking about the next yard — he was thinking about how to build something bigger.

By high school, he had grown that small operation into a thriving business, expanding into landscaping and detailed hardscapes like patios, decks, and fences. His drive to constantly improve pushed him to earn Virginia Class A RBC & CBC licenses, allowing him to take on full-scale interior and exterior construction projects.

Today, after almost two decades, Elijah leads with the same hands-on work ethic and commitment to excellence that started it all.

Whether it’s creating a backyard oasis, protecting a home with quality roofing, or managing a full construction project, his focus remains the same: clear communication, exceptional craftsmanship, and delivering results that make clients proud of their investment.
